Bio: I am a wife and a mother of two girls and have worked as an occupational therapist in field of pediatrics since 2005. I have worked in both outpatient and school based settings and love working with children, teachers, and families.
Why: Over the past year we have started taking courses and learning more about Brain Gym theory and the different movements. In using these strategies in our personal lives and during treatment sessions we have seen the benefits of these movements. We wanted to be able to share these strategies with teachers, parents, and students so that they could be used across all settings (school, home).
Bio: I am a wife and mother of two who has worked as an occupational therapist in pediatrics since 2002 at both Hasbro Children’s Hospital and in the Foxborough School Department. I enjoy working with children and families through the various stages of development and rehabilitation to maximize age appropriate function and independence.
Why: We have decided to create a website to support teachers, staff, children and families. The purpose of this website is to provide simple tools and strategies that can be easily implemented into one’s daily routine. These tools and strategies may facilitate focus and function.
